The Great Yankees

5 legends of the New York Yankees

These magnificent Yankees, Mantle, Berra, Ford, DiMaggio and Stengel gathered together for an Old Timers’ Day on August 3, 1974.

They are all gone now, but what lives they lived! This painting hung in Mickey Mantle’s restaurant in Manhattan, but not for very long. It was bought by a gentleman who was a garmento. That’s someone who has business in the garment district, particularly in New York.

Fortunately, I’d drawn and gotten signed portraits of each of these men at various times.

This beloved painting of these great Yankees is now, for the first time, available in print. Limited edition, 16X12, printed on premium heavyweight gloss paper, signed and numbered by the artist, Carole Diane Heslin.

$75, which includes shipping within the Continental United States.
